Name: Liath ((LEE-uh)) Erickson
Age: 19
Gender: female
History: In 1945, the United States of America found that the Japanese were experimenting on humans in a lab called "Unit 731". It was disguised as a water purification center. But after the Japanese had been exploited, they thought all their problems were gone. They were wrong. An even bigger problem was happening in our own backyard. Experimenting with biological weapons and disease is one thing, but changing unborn embryos to create the perfect weapon is a completely different story. Playing God, killing the innocent, those bastards just kept it up. The situation worsened, however, when the scientists found the experiments dying. They were failing. Most children were born with no faces. Others had extra limbs. All died long before their estimated life expectancies. More children were taken. The problems continued. A select few survived from this wave, out of at least 400. But they too had to be 'put to sleep' in the end. All those children died for selfish reasons. Only because they weren't perfect. The scientists continued their work until they had their first success in 1990. The embryo from Dr. Conner's wife, Helen, mixed with the DNA of a raven, survived. And there were no problems. The young girl had been born completely healthy. But as she grew, they tortured her. They put her through many tests in the day, shoved her in a dog crate at night. She starved, but held tough. Soon, more experiments joined her. Damion, Anna, and John. They were like her, a success. Damion had joined her only six months after she was born. He wasn't like her though. Her DNA had been altered as an embryo, he was stolen from a village as a toddler. Nothing went wrong with him, so they kept the young albino, having dark plans in mind. Only when a young couple couldn't stand to see the children in pain any longer, did the young girl escape. In 1996, they had saved the girl they decided to call Liath Erickson... They tried to save the others as well, but they were caught. Yet they made it out unscathed, and went to another part of New York for safety. It was a big mistake. Sure, they lived peacefully for two years, and Liath started to forget everything that happened. She was happy, for the first time in her life. Until the man she had learned to call her father got a disease. Rare and deadly the disease was, her mother took them to a doctor, only to find that it was Dr. Conner. Liath had no idea what was happening, for she was outside the room. But when she heard the screams, she knew something was up. She walked inside the room, and was shocked to find her father lying in his own pool of blood, and her mother hanging from the ceiling by her broken neck. It was then that she recognized the hunter, Cain Emerson, standing next to Dr. Death. Other hunters were their as well, only to protect their precious leader. They went for her, but her rage stopped them at once. That day, Dr. Conner found out exactly what his daughter could do. She killed all of them, except for the doctor and Cain. They were the only ones that got away. The only thing that went wrong was the fact that she had broken several bottles of dangerous chemicals, and started a fire. She was blinded. Her retinas had been shredded, making the damage permanent. She grew up alone, angered, and vengeful. She knew that there was only one way to bring peace to her world, and that was to kill all of the bastards that dared to ruin her life. Anyone who got in her way would share the same fate.
After her recent encounter with the lab, she gained sight once again. In that time she gained new gifts, and discovered the fact that Dr. Conner was her father. She found out about her mother, and took Helen's maiden name, Grey. After Joey saved her from the lab, she blew it up, thinking that everyone was killed and hoped to never hear about it again.
Personality: She's been angry all her life, but learned to channel that anger into her attacks, making her stronger. She tends to stay away from people, to build a wall around herself and hates to get emotional about stuffs.
Powers: 20 foot wingspan. She has clairsentience, can shield herself with a diamond form, and controls shadows.

"Like one who, on a lonely road, Doth walk in fear and dread, And, having once turn'd round, walks on, And turns no more his head; Because he knows a frightful fiend Doth close behind him tread." -Mary Shelley |
